With an FM-based system the audio information (speaker’s voice, music, etc) is transmitted directly from the source (PA systems, microphone, etc) via an FM transmitter to a lightweight, portable receiver and headset worn by those in need of hearing assistance. This eliminates background noise, distance related volume loss and distortion due to poor acoustics and allows the user to set the volume to suit their hearing needs without impacting others. |
